Ella & Jo Case Study

Ella & Jo are on an incredible growth journey and the targets they set us certainly attested to that.

Our challenge was to challenge them. For us to hit the target, we needed to flip our focus from driving purchases at the most efficient spend possible to reaching and acquiring a high volume of new customers.

 

We developed an acquisition framework based on how a customer would buy. Each stage of the journey was mapped out and required distinct content, messaging, and success metrics.

While we manage their PPC and SEO, we demonstrated real value by prioritising the customer and ensuring all their media was aligned, including organic and paid social channels.

We went from lower funnel search to being everywhere – YouTube, Gmail, Display, Generic Search and of course brand search.

 

Following on from our success with Ella & Jo, we continued to go from strength to strength for the month of June.

 

 

  • We will have hit our target for the second month with revenue growing by 116% YoY
  • We are seeing massive brand uplift from expanding our upper funnel activity, with us hitting over 2M Impressions in June – 4x more than last year.
  • We can see the overall success and effectives of our new strategy through our visits being +133% YoY along with our Conversion Rate +239%.
  • June is the first month that the percentage of customers abandoning the website after viewing a product have declined from 81% to 72%. This shows the changes we’ve made within our strategy along with our recommended optimisations Ella & Jo have made across the website, are working to keep customers engaged and buying direct from Ella & Jo.
